Whooooooaaaaaa Nelly! When will this snow stop?! Last night we had snowflakes the size of my HEAD and the drive to work this morning was...interesting! Waste of time, really, as I spent all morning grabbing work to do from home...and then drove home again! Ah well..at least I'm home now and won't be leaving again until the squirrels can find their nuts.
Hopefully.
Anyhoo, yesterday I opened a savings account with my bank as they do this thing called 'Save the Change' where every time you use your debit card they round the amount up to the nearest £ and transfer it into a designated savings account (although I think the account has to be with them too). Therefore there will be the odd dribs and drabs filtering their way into my savings without me even noticing itNeat idea, I thought, as I was doing that manually anyway.
Therefore my PADs today look thus:
£1 to savings account to open it.
30p 'Save the Change' (henceforward to be known as STC)
£2.10 loose change into flagon
Graaand total: £3.40
Last night was our first night with our new electric blanket, and I must say that, once you've got over the fact that it feels vaguely like you've p***ed yourself, it makes it doubly hard to get out of bed right now
Ok, well I've chatted enough and I must get back to work
Stay safe and warm out there!
