Maybe they are just trying to wind you up? I hate people that do that, I had a customer at work once who was winding me up and admitted to my colleague she was doing it on purpose. It really upset me that she felt she could just wind me up for the hell of it, some people's mentality is just plain ridiculous and unnecessary.

Probably. But it does make me wonder what someone else would get from that, especially on an internet forum. (where's that confused face when you need it?)

I think it's probably because I dared to point out that their view and comments were very one sided and they hadn't, at any point, tried to view it from the other side.

I honestly think they don't want to view it from the other side as then they are 'wrong'. Silly thing is, I wouldn't consider them 'wrong', just that they had missed something is all.

Anyway, I said I was not going to respond any further on that thread, now I must resist the urge. I know there is no point, so must walk away. :rotfl::rotfl:

Does anyone else feel like they are talking to a brick wall on here sometimes? Like some people just pick and choose parts of your post that they feel they can attack, even though the rest of the post explains it, or you've answered that question in a previous thread, or they just decide, from what you said that you feel/are a certain way etc?

Arghhhh, it's infuriating! I try to be calm and polite to everyone, but sometimes.......sometimes I just wanna let rip!

    Sorry, rant over.

No, no, no, no, no. It wasn't you! I'm not sure where you even got that from?

Honestly, no need to apologise, all is well. The person I speak of is not a PAD member.

    Yeah, that's it.

I'm not going to get into a fight. It's not worth it. It just infuriates me when someone is so rigid in their viewpoint. There are two sides to every story and this person seems completely unwilling to view it from the other side. They've already decided that their interpretation is correct and that's it.

Oh, and apparently, I now have a social phobia?!:rotfl::rotfl:I was speaking in the third person the whole time, so my posts clearly aren't even being read fully/correctly.

  • I just had to go and have a look at this thread you were getting annoyed with...
The whole thing is frankly pretty ridiculous. I don't really understand quite what the point of it was!
Yep, just take a breath and walk away.... don't click back on the thread!!!

I never went back to the thread. I don't come across the OP very often but she seems to start threads when a random question pops into her head!!
