Thanks guys, I'm soooo chuffed for him - he's been trying to get out of his rut for years and this would be a brilliant move for him - not to mention a £5k payrise :jPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

Forgot to say - I hope everyone had a nice weekend / Valentine's Day.
OH and I mutually agreed not to buy cards or pressies for Valentine's Day - February is a heavy month for us with both of our birthdays, other family birthdays and our anniversary. We had a lovely meal and a really good bottle of red wine instead. Suits me fine!PigginSkint's debt free diary

How is life in the doldrums of Amsterdam then? Still got that job for me?
We're coming over in April, my mates birthday so lots of drugs, women and licking salt off sexy ladies breasts will be the order of day me thinks :rotfl::rotfl:
Howdy stranger! I'm good thanks, how about you?
Amsterdam is cool, not that I go out much, moneysaving and all! lol. There are still jobs here, but in other departments for the moment. The rubbish guy left and has been replaced by a colleague from inside the company who's much better, thank God!!!:rotfl:
April hey? My folks are coming over in April too! hahaha, although, I hope they don't start doing everything you have planned  Oh...the images....ick!
I expect that your friend will have an awesome Birthday.....if he can remember it!And, if you're lucky, it might actually have stopped snowing by then, wouldn't hold your breath though! :rotfl::rotfl:

Pad to the sealed pot of £1.41 today.
Just been to my first counselling session... my friends know I'm down but not how far and I hate admitting it as it's not for any particular reason, so here I am telling you lovely fellow pad'ders to get it off my chest. Fingers crossed the black cloud of the last few months will start lifting, or at least bring me a rainbow or two!

Does anyone else feel like they are talking to a brick wall on here sometimes? Like some people just pick and choose parts of your post that they feel they can attack, even though the rest of the post explains it, or you've answered that question in a previous thread, or they just decide, from what you said that you feel/are a certain way etc?
Arghhhh, it's infuriating! I try to be calm and polite to everyone, but sometimes.......sometimes I just wanna let rip!
Sorry, rant over.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
