    Go you tomtom :T:T

thanks! to be fair, though, it's 90% down to OH - he's done really well to get this bonus given the climate at work at the moment. the 10% that's mine is down to good old fashioned stuff like meal planning, re-using things and clever shopping (with the odd splurge...:o) as i am in sole charge of the budgeteering in our house.

    afternoon all!

will catch up on the posts in a minute, but wanted to post my PAD for today...

OH has had another unexpected bonus (:D:j:j:j:D) so this is what i have done with it...

£253.78 to clear both remaining interest free plans with argos, £50.00 to DS1 savings, £50.00 to DS2 savings (both those were borrowed to pay the cash deposit for the puppy and forgot to replace before now :o:o:o), £300.00 to temporary savings for leah's spaying and hernia op, £255.00 to temporary savings for OH's diving course, £150 to temporary savings for new wardrobe for OH to hang his diving gear in and £2000 to proper savings (i.e. i shouldn't be taking it back out again anytime soon!)

...so PAD of £3058.78 from me today, please! :D back to pennies in the morning... :p

now i can start overpayments on the mortgage again, this is once again our only debt and i want to see it below 100k asap. not far to go but the interest is (as is usually the case in the first half of the lifetime of the mortgage, i think) way more that what we are actually paying off the debt so it comes down so slowly...

i confess i also bought myself a bottle of soap and glory perfume for a tenner from boots (on offer, though!) as a little treat... :o :j

so it's a happy tuesday here and the sun is shining as a bonus! hope everyone else having a good day too... xxx ttb

:T:T :T Well done. Doesn't matter where the money came from, its cleared things, and put the savings back which must feel so good.
Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

ETA: Wow tomtom, that's an amazing PAD! Bet it feels amazing, and I agree with gilligan that it doesn't matter where the money came from so long as things are getting paid

Phew! My door is now fixed:j, even better it didnt cost me a penny, my lovely dad has sorted it for me:D

Huge well done to you tomtom:T
Re the pad method - most of my friends cant understand why i pay a small amount each day instead of a lumper each month, told them its because you dont notice the odd £'s and pennies but i'd notice £150 gone in one go. It's what works for me and thats what matters. At the end of the day i'll be the one debt free 4yrs early while my mates are still paying there min payments.

£6.39 for me today keza please, split between VSP, £2 pot and other change-type receptacles - a miniscule amount however compared to your fabulous PAD TomTom - well done you for diverting it into all the appropriate little funds - that's a skill in itself :T
