How do you know a man is about to say something clever...
His sentence starts with, 'My wife was just telling me....'!
Disgraceful. You should be banned from the forum, boiled in oil, and made to eat porridge without any sweetener for the rest of your life.0 -
Hi Everyone, so glad the jokes wont stop or I will be offended, I love having a little giggle when I come on here it makes my debt feel easier to cope with somehow, it's not the end of the world and we are still allowed to smile.

I too often hit the thanks button out of habit on this thread so I know where I was up to last time I was on!!
Like so many others, I use the thanks button as a way of keeping track of where I'm up to.
Been Padding to the sealed pot, so £1.12 please green, please carry on with the jokes. As Paul said, they're not always to everyones taste but thats the nature of jokes.
Angelic you can get your OH to add me as a friend. Anyone else who needs friends or FV neighbours feel free to add me. I'm nowhere near as competitive as some people - you know who you are
You can probably find me easier by mutual friends.
Has anybody else found that some smileys have gone missing? I can't find the confused one  or rolleyes.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

On a completely separate thing, I am sat here in the cold, because DS and his friends have taken it upon themselves to do some DIY. So far, they have built a cupboard in his bedroom, sorted out the pull switch in the bathroom and are now working on the central heating. All of which apparently needs the front door to be open so they can nip out for a cigarette, and we are keeping the whole street entertained with drum'n'bass
Tomorrow they are going to paint the new cupboard and then my bedroom. I have no idea why they are doing it, but not about to stop them as its not costing me anything except cups of tea.:money:Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
