Was mortified when I saw her post !!:(

If it makes you feel any better I laughed and so did Mr Angelic but only because there is an element of truth in the punchline (not sticking up for wife beaters!)...women just can't shut up with their whinging which, ironically, Bagpuss proved! :p

The OP wants to use the cash for her 6YEAR OLD DAUGHTER'S LIVING EXPENSES!!

As someone who's been around domestic violence, how the hell is this meant to be funny?

I can appreciate where you're coming from but it can be difficult to put a joke on here without offending someone.
Green posts jokes most days. Occasionally there has been the odd joke that has touched on sensitive areas of my own life. It's just the way it is. I can laugh, feel sad, or ignore. What I definitely would not want is for jokes to stop being posted in case someone gets upset.

  • Very true Paul

And while we are on the subject here's one that I saw the other day. When something bad happens there's always someone thinks up something.

If any of you know your football (not too hopeful on a mainly women's thread :o ).
Basically someone was wondering if Adebayoor ran the length of the bus to celebrate in front of the Gunners.
Now although what happened was terrible, I just couldn't help myself. It was one of those jokes that I laughed at and then cringed because I didn't think I should be.
  • Good evening . . .

Paul - I must shamefacedly admit that I laughed at the Adebayor one too - and all the Michael Jackson ones, and the Stephen Gately ones...
OMG I am such a bad person! *red faced*
