I can absolutely guarantee that Green meant no offense as she often posts a "joke of the day" for us. I personally didn't like the joke as much as some of the other ones, but it didn't come from a bad place, honest.

Bagpuss, there are lots of different jokes posted by various people. If it's not funny to you, then don't laugh at it. It's all lighthearted fun and if people don't like them it's off the page in a couple of hours.

I noticed that the extra expansion has come available for farmville, I really want it but it would mean rearranging my whole farm again so I'm not sure whether to bother or not!

Just by reading the above statement we understand your feelings on domestic abuse however I don't think there was any need for you to post (for the first time) in such a well established thread with such fury. There were other ways you could have chosen to have made your point without trying to upset/offend the regular posters on here.

As others have said, Green posts with good intentions and I, personally, found no harm in the joke, but then, I laughed at the Stephen Gately 'burning ring of fire' joke that was doing the rounds

Well I agree with what you said before. Fair enough it's not the most PC of jokes but it is still a joke. And for Bagpuss' first post to say that in such a way seemed a bit odd, especially when not saying anything else?

Well done on your for being diplomatic though - that must have taken some effort

I'm still deciding on the expansion - I don't want a big gap round the edge but how can I not get it when I've worked so hard! lol
