i beg to diff that there are no such thing as a non paying parent.... the man in question has NEVER paid a penny towards the upkeep of his daughter in the 13 yrs and 4 months shes been alive....
I have an ex like that.
He had an order made in court to pay but he never has.
He kept moving house and they could never find hjim.

After 10 years I found him at a stable address and they told me that even if he went to court a judge would be likely to throw out the debt anyway.

My children are all over 21 now. I never had a penny since the order was made. Its probably too late to do anythingn ow.
  • My ex is finally paying through a DOE, and the amount I am receiving includes arrears. One of my children is no longer a dependent, but I still receive the arrears that are due from when she was a dependent. The CSA told me that the NRP will always be responsible for any arrears, even when the child that they are for is in their twenties.
