I'm so certainly no expert, but if your mortgage is cheaper than rent would be and you don't have equity in your property I would have thought provided you can keep up with the mortgage payments you'd get to keep the house/ I'm sure someone else will confirm one way or another. I would imagine since you have tried so hard to pay that the creditors would be foolish to 'give up' and risk getting no money at all! Hang on in there.:grouphug:0

thanks for asking, if im honest i feel empty, like i have given up already, hubby has now come home from work and thinks it can be sorted but im still not sure
At least your DH is there and you are not alone now.
Renting is possible with dogs and cats, when my abusive ex, long long ago, threw me out, I managed to rent with my dog, two different places. It is possible. Hugs. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I'm 100% sure you'll be able to work it out... If not in this IVA then some other way. Hang in there ALWAYS, problems can escalate sure but i've never known a problem yet that cant be solved - maybe not ideally/perfectly but certainly adequately!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

Hoping someone will have some good advice today, have you posted in debt free wannabe on the "ask a CCCS counsellor" thread, or have you phoned national debtline? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

The OP is already in an IVA so i dont think those two companies will be of much use or even interested in the problem - unless the IVA is actually with one of those companies! Cant hurt to try the DFW forum tho to look into ways to cut costs and hopefully catch up the backlog as quickly as possibleWould you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
