3 Mobile Internet Cancellation

The 18 month 3 mobile internet contract I've got runs out next month.
I've had problems with this as basically I never really used it and it just ended up being a waste of money, but I wasn't allowed to cancel it unless I paid something near £300 upfront, so I decided to learn from my mistakes in the future and have been paying £15 a month for nothing.

Now when I tried to call up about cancelling it before I was told by a computer "if your modem is new give it 48 hours to set up" or something like that and then it cut my call off. I couldn't get through to a human voice so I had to write a letter

So what I basically want to know is how do I give them the notice on this contract? Will another letter do the trick or is there another number I can ring that actually connects to a human on the other side?

I'd like to do this asap and I really don't want to get dragged into it any longer its been the biggest waste of money I've ever spent.

Thank you :)

  • This is the number they give on the website for cancellations:

    0843 373 3333

Don't know if you've already tried that one, but it says "call us so we can look at you options" and "you don't have to put notice in writting, we can do it over the phone" so this sounds like the right number. :)

If you have an unlocked handset pop the sim in to it and call 500 (free) or 0843 373 0500 from any other phone which will get you through to the mobile broadband section.

The best way to cancel is over the phone and request a pac code, transfer your mobile broadband number to any payg sim within 30 days and your contract will automatically end.
  • Thank you, i'll give them a call on monday
