I was looking at a Mulberry bag today. I REALLY, REALLY want it. I can -just- afford it. However, I just couldn't bring myself to pay either £250 for the small version or £350 for the large one.
I did go back 3 times to look at it though.

Thanks for your suggestions on other bags....however after going into house of fraser and seeing the naff quality of some highly priced bags, i have to agree the Radley bags were far superior, although the Nine West bags were really nice too. But as i got £100 for xmas and birthday money I didnt want to squander and decided to buy something i would never dream of buying. In the end I went for this beauty which seemed to be hidden on Debenhams and found it on the telegraph site...the order went through but I'm half expecting to say out of stock....but with 2 codes foound on HUKD it brought it down 101 delivered....so fingers crossed

luvly - thats a lovely bag
I tend to buy my radleys in the sales but have to agree they last for ages and ages, and the leather just gets better with age. The advantage is that OH does not need to ask what I want for Christmas/birhdays so we are both happy
Sometimes its not about whether you can eat it or not its about whether it brings you some pleasure in life, and as dmg has said if you look at the amount of uses then it is more economical. Thanks dmg - showed that post to my OH :rotfl::rotfl:Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -

TKMaxx occasionally have these in reduced down to around £50, though if you do buy one check that the little keychain is on them as they are often stolen instore.
I like this, it's fun :j
I have to admit I have a cross selection of bags, I have some that I use for 'everyday' use and then I have a few Vivienne Westwood handbags which I love but save them for best ... my hubby thinks I'm mad and should use them more than what I do but I want to take care of them and give them to dd one day.
luvvly ... I like the bag you've picked, it's very nice !Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -

I just did a search and the Radley site has the brown version reduced to 104.00 from 150.00 if I'm looking at the right bag?Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -
Going back to Radley bags, I have the black version of this and use it loads and loads. Got mine a few years ago from Cheshire Oaks.Illegitimi non carborundum.0

Hi All the Radley lovers. I love the quality but cannot abide the twee dogs. Sorry. For a work bag then something a bit more serious is needed and I don't mean a serious dog instead!
I think the marketing means you pay more for the dog. I would happily pay less and skip the dog altogether, if something like that exists.0
