  • trainspotting is one of my favourite movies-but VERY grim and graphic Pap. Lots of drugs and swearing.

  • I'm not working at the moment but give me 30 secs, I'll have a look. I don't remember it having any significance in the 80s other than being on the t-shirt, but I'll have a look on the database for you :D

Thanks BB, just got a reply saying the phrase 'choose life' appeared in the bible  then populurised in the 1980's on the wham song. so basically what everyone said here... However Spud found the Kathrine Hamnett link :T Aqa job for Spud :rotfl:

Thanks all  back to lurkdom...

Edit ~ too slow for BB, although maybe if I sat up/better in my chair I could type faster

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Does this help ?
There is a group called Prolife I think which is anti abortion.

PAP, Trainspotting is good but a bit grim! all about junkies in Edinburgh.

Ahhh so it is about abortion too. I guess its one of those 'slogans' that you apply to your life/has meaning for different people. Juat nice to see where it came from. I do wonder why celebs are wearing them now

Ohhh I think I will pass on Trainspotting then. I couldnt even read Junk. Although I did try when I was 13 :o
