  • I always thought 'Choose Life' was in response to anti-abortion. But then, I have no reason for WHY I thought that....

Pap, it was a designer in the 80s who did loads of slogan t shirts. The Wham one was anti drugs, I think she did the Frankie Relax ones too. I had loads of them

Ahhh that makes sense :T Ohhh and I loved the song 'wake me up before you go-go'. It still doent tell me why she decided to design the t-shirts in the first place. It only mentions the slogan being adopted by the prolife movement after it was seen in the music video  guess we will never know

I have aqa'ed it though amd will post the rely if/when I get one :D

Just checked the weather reports, it's going to be very cold in Leeds and pouring it down in Venice. But they're usually wrong anyway!

Anyone know how I find out before travelling to Liverpool if the flight's been cancelled due to bad weather?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I think I may aqa it... Wonder if Emily or BB are working today

I'm not working at the moment but give me 30 secs, I'll have a look. I don't remember it having any significance in the 80s other than being on the t-shirt, but I'll have a look on the database for you :D

There is a group called Prolife I think which is anti abortion.

PAP, Trainspotting is good but a bit grim! all about junkies in Edinburgh.

Can you call or go online to the company you're travelling with Ames?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Don't worry hun! I have 2 gorgeous, healthy children! I'm very lucky. My Mom was 19 when she had me as well-then 8 years later my brother, then 5 years after that, my sister! Madness.

well, apparently.......according to AQA, it appeared in the Bible and was made popular by Wham when they put it on a t-shirt.

Edit: yep it was in the bible!!
