I was thinkig today - while reading stuff for my assignment at the gym - how much of my life I had wasted being in debt! A group of people came in - were having some sort of tennis tournament - they were all around my age - over 40 anyway - I suddenly realised that all I have ever done is work and try to juggle house kids study and full time work since I was 21! I have no time for hobbies and feel guilty if I am doing anything for myself! I was out all day today - came home to piles of washing and ironing and untidiness and clutter everywhere - no matter what I do and how hard I work I never get to the end of the list of things to do!!!
Haven't started my assignement - spent all night on here! BUT Spuds post made me really think about how to regain some perspectve!

Self pittying whinge over! Thanks Spud!

My reasons for missing opportunities is always down to Money..stupid really when I probably spent £1000's on crap (food, clothes) that didn't bring me any happiness and yet if I had made the effort to do those opportunities given to me I probably wouldn't be where I am now *sigh*

No point in regrets Sal, as Linda's sig says the race is long and in the end only with yourself. we all have lessons to learn and who knows what the future will bring.

pap - tell me to mind my own beeswax BUT could you not support charity by buying stuff from their shops rather than making a donation if money is tight for you ? XX

Am watching - and crying :o Is it just me or does the whole story of his life just seem so incredibly sad

What makes it worse is that actually he is responsible for making SO many people happy - lots of memories and excitement/enjoyment and yet he was just so torn up all the time.

This sounds really daft but I sort of think/believe he must be in heaven now cos he made so much happiness....?

I sound completely bonkers now but any way.
