TV no headphone socket what can i add?

    been to many shops today asking advice and not any further forward.

    Looks like the headphones with optical in are the way forward, just got to read up on what's best.
    Google gives you answers use it.........

    It gets very annoying trying to watch tv with wired headphones, I would try out one of those scart adapters first and see what happens. If it works you can then choose whichever headphones you like.

    Providing you have a spare SCART socket on the back of the TV, this method should work:

    It requires s soldering iron to build a little box to get the volume just right - pathetic that no manfrs want to make a proper product! IMHO there's a gap in the market here.

    Advantage is, once done you can listen to that TV on any FM radio so say, the one in your phone would be fine thru a pair of earphones.

    might do the job of the volume control box (needed to reduce the sound output from the SCART which will be too high for the transmitter - once set it can be left).
