Boiler emergency

Help

I am having major problems with my boiler and the place is freezing.

Somehow the rain/snow is coming in through the flue. It's pouring out of the bottom of the boiler and I've had to turn it off.

I've had it about 10 years and it's not the 1st time this has happened. Last summer it went off and the engineer said that it was because of rain getting into the boiler. The original installers came back and altered the flue (free of charge so they must have known that they were in the wrong) but I've never had anything like this before. It may be the snow melting on the roof that is causing it but there is a stream of it This time. The roof above it is part of a pitched roof and there is some snow hanging down from it. It may be that that's thawing and coming through. there is no guttering there because the roof slopes the other way.

Of course the installers are closed at the weekend. If it dries out over night will it be safe to use tomorrow? Also will any damage be covered by my house insurance?

I can't hear anything dripping inside of it now but water is still dripping out of the bottom so I think that it must have been caused by snow somehow.
