  • See GG its not just me..nah nah nah!:p

I seem to have spent an awful lot of spare time preparing for the imminent arrival of the cleaner (in two days )

I have an impressive array of cleaning products all proudly displayed in a nice shiny new mop bucket, mop is soaking in hot water to make it useable, is currently rock hard! Down stairs is definitely looking tidier than is normal in TPA land. I wonder how long it will take before I get upstairs sorted…hmm that makes it sound like downstairs is sorted which of course is a lie – but it is certainly better!:o

Todays mystery shops were fairly uneventful. Sitting in Pizza Hut on your own at 5pm does make one look like a sad friendless sod – which of course I am not, its just you lot are all on here!! 2nd mystery shop to a small supermarket went well until I went to input details and realized I should not have done it until tomorrow – oh dear! I must remember to look under pillow and see if thats where I left my brain today:rotfl:.

FYI I did NOT eat pizza, I ordered the salad and garlic bread with cheese, topped of with a diet pepsi –yuk why can we Brits not serve diet coke more often…mutters under breath as really dislike diet pepsi!

I have no idea what todays budget holds for me except an increase in personal allowance and no extra on fuel or wine.:j Oh yes and to counter act all that a rise in VAT and no payrise for public sector workers, oh well some you win, some you lose!

  • Woop woo, I lost 2.5lb this week and was slimmer of the week:j. I think it might have helped that I shaved my legs.....in fact I think that probably accounts for the full 2.5lb!:p

Completed two mystery shops today, one was just an email but every little helps.:money:

I am wondering about joining the local curves keep fit group, has anybody had any experence with them Gyms are really not my thing but I thought this might be a happy medium...i'e. gym v nothing! My thought is being the tight cowbag that I am if I am paying monthly for something I WILL go:rotfl:

Tomorrow is C day.....thats cleaner day for those of you not in the know..have written a list, it is rather long considering I don't want her to do any of the bedrooms!!

Hoover(or Dyson in our case:rotfl:) kitchen, living room, hall, stairs n landing
Wash floors in kitchen hallway and bathroom
    Clean said bathroom
    General dust around
Wax the oak furniture in living room
    Clean sofas with leather cleaner

I have no idea how long this little lot will take but have agreed for the first week, as there will be more than normal to do (will not need to wax furniture or clean sofas normally!) we will pay for how ever many hours in actually takes. Every week after that we will start at 1.5 hours per week (£15) and see how we get on. To be honest if it costs more than £15 per week on a regular bases I'm not sure I can justify the expense.

Gotta go, battery about to run aout and i'm too lazy to got of my not quiet so big aRs* and get the electricity cable:rotfl:

GG you are a :A, we have a wii fit, which is gathering dust (not after the cleaner comes tomorrow!) Right, thats it, watch out DH we are going to get Wii Fit. Good job there is concrete under our laminate floor:eek:. I'll tell him it was your idea.....by the time he has tried to work out which of my work collegues/friends is GG the Wii Fit will be up n running, no turning back now!

I am being very sad again tonight, I am sat here with Susan Boyle on the CD, hubby went to bed an hour ago followed closely by the cat and een SF has retreated to his bed!

Good news on the Quidco front, I know have £196.40 showing as due for payment at the end of the month. Even more monumental news, work look like they have paid me everything they owe me this month, it is a good job I was sat down when I checked my bank account or I may have made a hole in floor when I fainted! Still not had payslip..always arrives late a bit like British Rail, but the fingures look A okay!

    Hi TPA,

My friend did curves and seemed to like it.

We've got Wii Fit too. Dh always get 'ideal BMI' and I get the grumpy sound with 'overweight BMI' :( I really need to get back on it. :o Oops, just realised I forgot to weigh myself yesterday

  • I love the cleaning lady:D. My house smells lovely, she has waxed all my oak furniture and it looks stunning, I am really pleased. Paid her £25 she was here for 3 hours so was happy with that. We have agreed a normal week will be £15 (stupid I know but I feel I can justify that!) as there will be a lot less to do...i.e. no waxing and no leather cleaning the sofas:rotfl:I really need to get the bedrooms sorted as she can then hoover and dust those too!

I have been soooooo hot in work today, think I may have lost a couple of lbs of fluid. Warning, warning a TMI moment coming up - I think I may have lost some more lbs too, this time of wind! Ate slimming world 'scan brans' for breakfast and rye ryvittas for lunch with cottage cheese!

I am working Saturday and Sunday this weekend as we are short staffed, only 4 hours each day so still time to eat n drink too much over the weekend:rotfl:.

I have also mamanged to pick up a cinema overt visit for Saturday whilst I am in the area anyway, that should more than pay for the diesel.

Going out for a meal tomorrow night for brother in laws birthday, I will drink water but eat what I want! Don't want a thick head (well anymore thick than it already is!) for work so no alcohol, will work two fold as it is better for the diet to drink borring water!
