aww love the cakes, i kind of like the tier one as its more traditional but with a penguin edge and it will feed more people, and then you could use the penguins again maybe for an anniversary iceburg cake or something?
had my one exam today and it was not as bad as expected so wooo! But I've pretty much given myself the whole rest of the day off and im not going to college as im too tired
CMD - love the baby stuff! I'm not broody, got too much other stuff going on but its so exciting for you! I never really realised how much baby things cost though! think any babies I ever have will have to be hand me down babies at this rate!
Thanks Tinkerbel!
Yes, it is hard to believe that something that small could be so costly! If I had family living nearby I would have gotten lots of hand-me-downs but unfortunately they are all in Ireland so we don't get anything. My parents bought the pram though, and OH's parents are buying the cot so we aren't doing too badly out of it.
Glad your exam went well. You are right to give yourself the rest of the day off and chill out. You deserve it after the exams. They take a lot out of you.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

moneywise I am doing a globaltest survey atm (I havent done any for about 6 months because I got fed up!) so I'm going to get to cashout level and get the boy to on his then quit, and I applied for the lloyds linked airmiles account because I bank with lloyds anyway so it might be easier. Don't know if ill get accepted but I only opened the other one for the credit rating and the cashback!0 -
Time to get the kettle on for the early risers! Better get on with the bread making for those who will want breakfast served in bed. It is going to be a busy morning in the kitchen. Good thing is there are no penguins about this morning.0

I'll have plain toast & orange juice if you're making Poolie!
Up eariler than normal for a Wednesday, I'm going to go see if there's anything worth having in the Boots 75% off sale. Went in last week and they still had lots of makeup kits & boys bits so fingers crossed!
Good luck with your exams Tink! x0 -

I've got my Mum on the lookout for giftsets today in Boots, I've got no idea who I plan on giving them too but I love a bargain! If she manages to get the Gok Wan stuff I'll be keeping it for myself!
I'll have scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast please Poolie, it's a bit more appetising than the soggy shreddies looking at me right now! Ooooh, and some apple juice! Mmmmm...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Another coffee please Poolie, and I've got a cereal bar here that I'll have.
Dinah I like the tiered cake because the other one just isn't a wedding cake
Cinny and Birdie, yes I need a few essentials in Boots today so going to have a little mooch, doubt there'll be much left by dinnertime though!
Glad the exam was OK Tink, good luck for the rest!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Birdie - I managed to get the big Gok Wan £40 gift set for £4.50! Think it was a fluke though, was looking at the sale stuff and a Sales Lady who I know/scares me pointed to the set and said it was only £4.50 got to the check out and it scanned for £10 but I'd been chatting to the manager and he let them over ride it for me
Spent £15something and got gifts for 5 people so I'm happy, saved almost £70 too!0 -
Wow what a bargain Cinny! What's actually in the Gok sets?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Awesome bargain Cinny! Tete, the Gok set has bubble bath, 2 shower gels (one is shimmery, the other one normal) a tub of body lotion, a tub of shimmery body lotion, hand cream, lip balm and a purple shower cap. It all looks and smells divine too! I want another one just for me because I'm using all of my stuff up quite quickly!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
