They called her Kira and we have four gorgeous grandaughters (aged between 6 weeks and 8 years old)

What a beautiful name and I love the spelling of it. You must be really proud :)

Awwww CMD, stop it! On Saturday our friend's baby had a ... I don't know what they're called, like an outside romper suit thing to keep them warm? See... I really know nothing about babies! Anyway, it was pink and fluffy, like a teddy bear! Sooooo cute! Her suit thing underneath had built in scratch mittens too, I was very impressed by that!

PA, Kira's a really pretty name!

Aww you are making me all broody too! I can't wait to buy something for my friends little boy when he comes.

It is my OHs birthday tomorrow, he is working late so was going to make a birthday cake when he was out. Any ideas? He likes chocolate so am thinking possibly something chocolatey?

Tete, I don't really want seashells, it looks a bit too beige... I want really bright colours so it is in keeping with the bright colour scheme.

Oh, haha, sorry, just re-read your post, didn't see the 'don't' :o

Gorgeous baby stuff CMD, love the little romper! Kira's a lovely name, my cousin had a baby last year and she's called Kia which just makes me think of cars. A colleague has just become a granny to baby Daisy which I love!

For a chocolate cake with a twist Wendz, I can't recommend Nigella's Chocolate Guinness cake highly enough - really easy to make and everyone loves it!

Nom nom nom, how good does that cake look?! Isn't it right that home baked cakes have half the calories of shop bought?! Please say so!

Sick of work today. So bored! There isn't a button of work to do. Just spent all day yawning and looking seriously vacant (but tbf, I think the vacant look is my natural state.) Worried I might start cleaning my desk.

Ooo, I love that guiness cake! Not that I've actually tried it, but I've been eyeing it up since Nov time for OHs birthday cake :o No point making it to test though, just about everyone in my family is on a diet so it'd go to waste!

Aww, loving all the baby talk! :D Thankfully I'm no where near the broody stage of my life, so I'm safe looking at all the baby stuff and just thinking it's cute for being so tiny!
