Morning all.
MRI went fine, although took over half an hour, which was a nerve wracking 30minutes as I get so claustrophobic. They did give me some headphones and played 80s rock at me though!
Received my wedding invites today (photos can be found n my blog here). Very pleased with them, plus mum has said she'll pay for them and the orders of service, table plan, etc etc. This should save us a few hundred quid, which effectively we can scrub off our savings chart.
For anyone stuck on mothers day, Tesco have half price hardbacked photo books making them just £6.49. So my brother and I are clubbing together to try to get mum 8 of them or so as she loves photographs, but never gets them printed. I've done one last night, going to try to do another 3 or 4 today, as the offer only runs till Tuesday.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

oooh nice invites! are they going to be expensive?? I think invites is def something I want to do myself when I get married, i love papery bits and glue and ribbons! Nice of your mum to pay though!
Denimwise - I think you should try a special denim needle, I think they are blunter and work well on the dense denim fabric. Other than that, look at your tensions maybe if it was eating your work?
Great news - I'm finally over the 50000 mark!! (lol by about 150 points!)!! so when they all go through I can claim my cheque!!0 -
Thanks, I'm really loving them too. Mum hasn't told me what its all costing to be honest. She's doing our orders of service, name thingies on the tables and table plans too. I always planned on doing them myself, but because she does it for a living she buys it all in bulk, and from the rough prices she gave it could well be cheaper than us buying the bits ourselves and making them - the cost of a pritt stick is one of my eternal whinges! I sense she might be slightly discounting for us being friends. Plus there is no way I have time to make anything as nice as hers at the moment - I am in awe of people at full time jobs, organising a wedding and buying a house all at once - the knee thing actually came at a pretty good time!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Doctor said call in a week, but MRI lady said 2 weeks, so we'll see. Thanks CMD, I'm really chuffed with them, was terrified of getting a 'cute' homemade look.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
