  • I always use a clear top coat on top of nail colour - and Boots sell one at the same price - £1.25 with a snowy ;).

Thanks will give that a go!

Yeah the sponges were to be put through seperately. I got confused.

How many extra points did you get for the £35 spend - Was it 500? And what was the Ruby freebie? Presumably you got a ANOTHER free voucher too out of this!
Your items wouldnt have totalled £35 tho surely if you hadnt have included those sponges? If it was over £40.50 then you can take the sponges back and it wont effect those extra points.

Hi guys, can someone help me please? I got a coupon from the machine to spend over £35 and get some extra points. I bought some sale stuff just few small things a couple of creams and bits I needed. I had quite a few £5 vouchers so the sa said will have to put them through seperetely. Which is fine but I have checked and she put through the r& m brush and no 7 sponges on the same transaction. So £5 was taken of the r& m item but I have ended up paying ? 585 for the no 7 sponges.!

Well, they are defo not worth that to me! Can someone tell me if I could take this back and get a refund or what can I do? It just gets so complicated with the extra points for total amount but I wish I'd not got the extra points as it's not worth it.

!Sorry if this doesn't make sense. Please let me know any thoughts I would really appreciate it. Thanks x !!

You could possibly refund it and then get it again with the snowy but then if it takes you under the points total threshold for the extra points you could get them taken off your card

I received a coupon in the bost for 200 extra points when you buy No7 hand cream. It cost £10.50, handed sa the points coupon and then the snowy so only paid £5.50 and got 200 points!

I ended up with 14 snowy vouchers. Around half of them were mine and my mother gave me hers as she hates No7. I'm not a huge fan myself but I do love a bargain so here's what I got for 14 vouchers and €5.50:) Most of the items were around €7 and therefore free.

    No7
    • 4 reusable nylon shopping bags
    • 3 pairs of gloves
    • 1 credit card holder
    • 2 bottles of hair and body wash for men
    • 1 nail polish in the new teal green colour
    Ruby and Millie
    • 1 eyeliner brush
    • 1 eyeshadow brush
    • 1 set of sponges
I added up the full price and it came to €96.50 but of course I wouldn't have got any of it for that price:)

I feel I've done well from Boots this month. That's more than the €75 I spent in the 75% off sale.
    Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65
    Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31
    CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€500

Thanks, I will see when I can get back, otherwise I will have to put it down to a learning curve!

The other thing I bought with the voucher was a Mini brush set. It had 4 brushes in and a pouch for it. Should be £8 but with voucher £3. Very good for travelling as I've just replaced mine!

They also had some reduced perfume which was the annoying thing. I'd taken a bottle to the till but wasn't sure so thought if it's under £35 I'll get it! But off course with the sponges it was over. Still kicking myself now. Lol.

I also tried to buy the gloves but they didn't work with the voucher. Not sure why. Will hopefully get back to a boots and spend my extra vouchers.

Thanks to everyone for your help and advice. Xxxx
