That is sort of the same as getting them for free!
Good to know this, my son has a payg phone that usually gobbles up £10 a month. Nice to think that I can bag myself some goodies from doing this in the future.
Does this also apply to iTunes cards?July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -
'Boots logic' works like this:
You need to stock up on some 'essentials', like toothpaste (some good deals on these right now, like Arm & Hammer, Bogof etc),
shampoo and shower gel etc. You normally buy these in the supermarket etc, but instead you spend that money in Boots.
Just £5 on 'essentials', will get you a £5 off No7 Snowy voucher, plus 20
points on your Boots Advantage card, which you can save towards a treat!
You then use the Snowy to get your gloves for £1, you haven't spent more than the £6 the gloves 'would have cost',
plus you have also got your 'essential items'.
That way whenever there is a good money saving voucher in Boots,
you will be able to bag yourself a voucher without wasting cash on things you don't need to get it.
Leaving you free to use your £5 off No7/R&M, £2 off Haircare, £5 off Skincare etc, vouchers,
on extra special pamper products just for you! Boots logic, don't you just love it! :j
So basically they make nail polish/brushes/gloves/face wipes for us to take away for free as an incentive to make sure we don't purchase toothpaste and tampons, phone credit and sandwiches in other shops! That's really smart.
I wish they made shampoo/conditioner and other hair products to get with vouchers although I have bought lots of the No7 for men hair and body shampoo I'd like a female version.
I'm in Ireland. We spend €7.50 to get a €7.50 snowy. Gloves cost €6.99 here so are free and the re-usable bag is €7 so that's free. Glasses case is €7 too I think but we have no extra point machines so it's harder to build up points here.
I just registered to reply to some threads here, I've been lurking. It's bedtime but now that I have an account I'll contribute now and again:)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Im new to the Bootsing too, used my vouchers yesterday on No7 nail polish and No7 shaving gel for hubby. Didn't realise I could use the R&M voucher with these as it was posted whilst I was out shopping at Boots, I could have got some brushes and a make up purse at no cost
please tell me im wrong.

I have asked before but - why is it some people get a snowy with a phone top up and others do not?
My local says they do not give vouchers with phone top ups - why?0 -

If you have the R&M acm voucher, you could have used it with the snowy, to get 2 R&M products, 750 points, and £5 off the price with your snowy. Sorry.
I haven't got the R&M acm voucher this time round, but loved it last time, as there were reduced R&M make-up bags and lippys too, plus snowys.0 -

We don't have the magazines in Ireland either:(Only reason I can think of is that the prices would be in £ but surely they could print it £/€ instead. I'm going to Boots during my lunch to use my vouchers. Will be really happy if I can get some Ruby+Millie brushes.
I only started lurking here recently but I've been using the Boots vouchers and offers to get the best value possible for years. I just never knew the method had a name. Bootsing:pTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
