Thanks a lot guys some fab ideas for me to check out.

barbera cartland not quite look aiming for.

just feel should take better care of skin and look bit smarter as never used to go out without makeup pre kids.

im busy mum to 2 kids so makeup itself has to be minimal in day i like

    pale eyeshadow, mascara
    touch of concealer spots,under eye
    sweep of brozer
    lipgloss

night time on rare times i go out might go for eyeliner, highlighter ect.
I think i need to get some basics sorted.

good skin care routine , this confuses me a bit.

    do i need a cleanser,toner then a moisturiser?
do i need a seperarate day and night cream?
does the moisturiser have to have spf or the foundation.
do i need moisturier pre tinted moisturiser?
do i need a primer b4 appling makeup.
do i need separate tan from face to body?

need to pluck ,shape my brows.
never considered tinting but probably should as they quite fair as natural hair colour mousey blonde..

Hair- did try college place when in college took them ages, no colleges near me.
might trying some of old peoples salons round here away from high street as might be cheaper growing my hair so just need trims and layers will colour at home.

nails doubt will ever be long but could look better what do i need to do just file them and use clear nail varnish for shine?
not sure could have full manicure as they non existant.

Could do with fake tan but problem i find is they either too obvious and orange reason wasent keen on st tropez, johnsons holiday sun useless its why i liked clairins as subtle but lovley non ott glow.

im thinking some things maybe would last ages and should maybe try spend a bit more.

    wheres me me me from.
will be going into large boots next week, take it they got no 7vouchers again i always end up buying facial wipes few things in no 7range under £5.

    Hi Girlies

Just wanted to share my find.... I'm a big St Tropez fan but when I realised how much I was spending it freaked me out so looked for an alternative. My mum bought me some St Moritz from B&M (I think). It was only £2- we looked at the ingerdients and they were the same as St T it has the guide colour like St T too. I was a little reluctant so tried it on my legs 1st and it was fantastic! Nice subtle colour- not ooompaloompa orange like some others I've tried!

Would definitley try it somewhere you can easily hide it 1st but hope this helps someone!

I used to use Touche Eclat also but ran out and was broke and I bought a copycat version from Bodycare (I think it's called bodycare or something similar a cheapo version of boots) It is in the Technic range and it's £1.99. I use it all the time now I think it's just as good. I have even got my sis onto using it and she works for lancome and has worked for clinique in the past too and only uses the best stuff. (she was forced to try it as she slept at mine and had no makeup with her otherwise she would have laughed at me). Try it!

ALso forgot to say this - if you like Tigi hair products (like me) then check out Fragrancedirect.co.uk they have Tigi products on their. I got the brilliant brunette shampoo £5 for 400ml which actually works out cheaper than high street brands. They always have diff stuff on their but it's always quite a bargain. Quidco cashback too x

Not much to add to what others have said, although I don't think anyone's mentioned Wilkinsons for being very reasonable for toiletries and some cosmetics. Also Home Bargains if they have one near you.

Re: skin care though - personally I would go without foundation. I very rarely use it, only once or twice a year. I use Boots mineral powder foundation when I do. I find that people I know who use foundation all the time get really bad skin. I've never gone OTT on the old skin care - either Simple/Dove sensitive soap and water or superdrug sensitive wipes, then once or twice a week Angels on Bare Skin scrub from Lush. Then cheapo sensitive moisturiser when I remember :o. I'm knocking on a bit now but one thing I've got no complaints about is my skin. Although I've got a small spot on my chin at the moment which is really annoying me, but they're a rareity thank goodness. And I put it down to my lack of makeup wearing! Maybellene mascara and bourgois effet 3D lipgloss at most.

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

I wear foundation everyday, I have good skin.

Never suffered from spots much when young.

Its a good base for makeup & it makes it last longer, it really does provide the perfect base for it.

New year new me want to be more yummy mummy than frumpy mummy and get my old glam self back had baby nearly 4months ago plus toddler to run about in.

    .
Have you a college nearby training Beauty Therapists/Hairdressers? The college I'm at takes paying clients, dirt cheap no more than about £6 for two treatments (eyelash tint, manicure), hairs a wee bit more but no more than £20 for highlights/cut.

I know that we literally fight over getting the "real" clients as opposed to doing treatments on each other for the zillionth time!

Yeah just finished reading the thread you have no college near you. Sorry!
Finally, I can see you crystal clear
