Hello,
Have been trying to order an I Phone on Orange. Went through the process a couple of weeks ago, everything went through, phone was due to be delivered.
A day later I recieved this email:
Hello Michael ,
Before we can process your order we need to double check some details with you. Please contact us so we can sort everything out.
You can email our web sales support team at webresponsecabinet@orange.co.uk Please enter the word GEN into the subject line of your email followed by your order number which is shown below. A member of the team will then review your order and contact you.
I did as the email said, but heard nothing back. Have tried contacting Orange and all I can get out of them is that I must have failed the credit check. Although, the order went through initially and wasn't declined automatically as my partners was when she tried to order one. They even took 5 quid off me for delivery!
Anyone help?

You'd be best calling them, all anyone here can do is offer suggestions.
It may be as simple as you typed the address slightly differently to the one on your bank statements, and it's enough to cause an hold on the account.0 -
I had someone else pay for the delivery on another card as it wouldn't accept mine for some reason, would this be the reason.
I have tried calling them, Only managed to get through twice and haven't been given a definitive answer.0 -
Thats probably the issue as the card and your order are probably different names.mrmichaelf wrote: »I had someone else pay for the delivery on another card as it wouldn't accept mine for some reason, would this be the reason.

Oh well, looks like thats that then. I doubt they'll let me re-apply. It wouldn't accept my credit card. No idea why. No problem with other online purchases0
