Sorry to read about relative EE - I hope that they get him sorted out soon, and I hope that you get some time for yourself somewhere as well. x

My Noddle report is in for March so just had a quick look - last month my score was 540 and I was 1/5 and this month my score is 566 and my score is 3/5!!
I think it's jumped as I spent on the c/c at Xmas and then paid it off the following month plus I paid £280 in Jan to bring the balance down.
Hopefully April's score will be fab as the c/c will be clear.

DH's report not due yet but his score is 522 and 1/5.

I know the scores don't really mean much but it's nice to see that my credit rating is improving so there is hope of a mortgage in the future.

Maybe I should not have been so positive - my score this month is 558 and 2/5. It appears my Halifax c/c is late to update so today it is only updated to 28/2 and that statement has all the Xmas spends on so my balance jumped from £800 to £1700:eek:
It shows a lower balance now but the statement hasn't been produced yet. Fingers crossed next month I go back to 3/5!!

DH still sitting at 522 and 1/5 even though he paid over £200 to one of his debts - his report updates at the end of the month so not sure why it has not moved much since the previous month.

Oh :( Hope things improve soon.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Relative came out of hospital on Weds night, he is doing really well and has put on 10lbs!!
His walking is much better than he was (well it was non-existent when he went in) but he will need to walk with a frame instead of just a stick.
He is also restricted to soft food as his swallowing is not great (due to Parkinsons).
But he is home and living semi-independently which is great as he us 78 and does not want to go into a care home

The only downside is that when leaving the hospital I reversed into a concrete pillar:mad::eek:
  • Oh no! Hope you were unhurt and car is not too bad.

Also hope relative was sent home with a care package and it's not all down to you now he's home Xx

Pleased to hear your relative is doing well. Not pleased to hear about the car :( I remember Mr SA backing into a concrete post in a car park years ago, not good.

Oh no - good news that relative is better (take as much help as you can get your hands on - not that you need me to tell you that), but sorry to hear about the prang in the car.

    Thanks for comments ladies.

Relative is home with a care package for 4 days to help in the mornings and then after that he has to decide whether to keep them on and pay.
He has been home a few days and is managing really well - I went shopping the night he came home and got him 7 days of ready meals plus fridge bits etc.
Today I am going round to show him grocery shopping on line!!!
He is actually very computer savvy so fingers crossed he gets the hang of it.

He has told us we must not visit every day which is fine with me, we usually visit on Sundays but since he has been home we have visited every day but that won't continue as life is too hectic.

I actually hit the side of my car just near my front drivers wheel arch, I was reversing out of a space and as I swung the car out of the space the concrete pillar was to the side. There is a 'slight' dent and the side of the bumper won't clip back in as the car frame is pushed in but it is driveable and no one was hurt.
We have a local guy who does spray painting from a little barn so hopefully he will be able to get the dent looking less like a dent and then spray it for me for not too much money.
The problem is being without a car as DH now works in the other direction to me.
