Need to Clear Everything From My Computer

Hello
Happy New Year to Everyone :j
Need a little help
I am selling my Advent 3219 Computer
I want to clear everything on this machine please can some one advise me on how to do this, as I have not got a clue!! I have not got the original disc to restore the factory settings.

Also this computer had a major virus on it which has now been removed as a result of this I now have no internet access on this PC and am not sure how to set this up and cannot download anything on the PC as I cannot get on the internet!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

If you want to protect your data so that the next owner of your computer cannot access it, the best course of action would be to take out the HDD, and replace it with a new one. You can format it...but there are ways to recover data on a hard drive, even after it has been erased several times.

If you want to completely wipe the hard drive
    then give this a try.

removed it as not sure it would fix your problem now

you would need to copy anything to a usb drive or Cd on another machine

what did you use to remove the infection

you would have to sell it without Windows or install Unbuntu for free and sell it with Linux
