    hi :)

Well, had a chat with the date and apparently it's certain we're meeting again - that he really enjoyed the first one, and how come I needed to ask?!!! lol

Just added some more veggies and 2 little potatoes that were hiding in the cupboard to the lamb stew - Sophia has requested that I whizz it up into soup for tea. Will was less than enthusiastic about that!!!

Had a really productive talk with a friend last night - I was whining on about stuff and he asked me what kind of person I would like to appear to others. I described her and now I'm on my way to making it a reality!!! Funny how I've been trying hard to get there for so long and now a simple conversation has really focussed my mind. NOw I need to gather those things, so I have a visual image of that woman to keep in my journal!

Excellent news on the date not being as much of a disaster as first feared, but even better news on the new perspective of "you". I am looking forward to reading how much difference a positive slant on life makes :D

Have a good day - how was the "stew/soup"?

Thanks! :) The stew was just gorgeous - the soup needs a little thickening!! Going to make a cauliflower soup tonight as have one that really needs using.

Well, the kids are at their dad's tonight, so I've got the evening free. I intend to clean up & do some of things I meant to do on Sunday/Monday. Then I also have more marking and planning that needs to be done tonight.

Had some good news today - the boss thinks I'm doing well at work, so it's a relief to know that my hard work is showing!!

    Love to all

    Hi again

Just had a check up on finances and despite being 250 quid down this month I managed it somehow!!! The savings pots, using storecupboard ingredients etc. Now, while I don't want to reproduce the same month again, as Sophia hasn't been to Brownies, I've included some strange things in their packed lunches and have put off paying the after school club, it shows I can cut the wastage money out! And feel good about it. So going to try to examine all my spends, as I have been doing this month and hopefully will be able to increase debt payments a little/have money to buy christmas pressies etc.

    :)

Another 10 pounds to the debt extra today as I had 32 pounds left in my account. My pound sign isn't working - seems my keyboard has gone to an american one!!
