Whoo hoo the bonus has finally landed. Is it as generous as you were hoping????? Have you decided which bag and matching purse and colour co-ordinated shoes and underwear you fancy?

As ever, it's accounted for to the penny! Around £1200 (Don't have the Frugal Tome to hand right now...!) received after tax etc.

I have not been able to find a bag I really want. I can't justify a Radley at the moment, and would be very happy with something smaller and Accessorizey but didn't find anything I liked when I went to the shops earlier, so no spend so far.

I bought nice new undies from M&S before payday for Much Cheapness and don't need shoes at the moment.

I think I've been frugal for so long I've forgotten how to splurge! That being said....I found a new website which makes me very happy and suspect I will be the proud owner of at least one paid of new earrings by morning :o

I'm in Glasgow tomorrow for work, but really want to find myself some time to do a little shopping. Trouble is that I'm in pretty much back to back meetings all day and am going straight out after work for dinner, no time, no time!!!

Re.the very important issue of handbags - could you set up a separate saving account with the amount you'd be prepared to spend now & then let it earn interest & add the occasional pennies to it etc until you find one you do like? That's surely the MSE way to do things :A

The jewellery is most definately unusual. Can't remember the last time I wore jewellery or make up (apart from face paint). Must be nice to have the sort of life that lets you do that on a daily basis although I still couldn't be arsed. I'd go nuts in a job where I had to think about what I was going to wear and attempt to colour co-ordinate and be smart. Thats far too stressful for me.

Yeah....not as much fun though :D I think the issue would be that I don't have any spare pennies that don't go to The Debt, and I don't want to become distracted from that with shiny things!

I don't have enough nice clothes for work, and tend to just wander in wearing whatever item doesn't have a lot of cathair on it :o I make up for this by owning a vast array of fabulous earrings, and they are a major weakness for me :rotfl:
