    What she said!

    Some use? Check out my figures!!

    Total spend = £65.56
    Multibuys = -£10.71
    Total spend = £54.85

    I then used the £15 of vouchers from yourself (thank you, thank you, thank you!) and a 50p Tesco voucher I had in my purse, along with my £7 off a £50 spend coupon, making my total spend £32.35 :D Mwahahaha!

    Not having to think about the cost meant I got some cream cakes (Yummy!) and also a box of tissues with a cow face on them :D They are an essential though, so it's ok!

    Thanks again DFW, so much appreciated!!

    In other news, I have joined Twitter, as the people on the comps board seem to be doing well off Twitter comps.

    I have no idea what I'm doing and feel old. All help gratefully received...

    i'm no use at tweeting but i'm sure someone will be along who is more helpful!

    i'm buying two papers until thursday now so both boys can have the lego. shame it's such a carp paper (mirror south of the border) because a daily paper is a real treat for me - i never buy one unless something like the lego promo is going on. would prefer the mail tho!

    great shop at tesco. i need to get my bum down there more often as need tesco points for my car service - haven't got very many and now starting to panic that it might actually cost me real money this year!
    Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
    :Anow... to start some serious saving :A

    Hi FF re your trip tp York theres this one http://www.whatsonyork.com/ or this one http://events.yorkpress.co.uk/events/

    The best thing to do is just be a tourist and wander round the free things ie shambles, walk on the roman walls, the art gallery is free, you can look at the outside of the minister but it costs to get in for a non yorkie.

    Things aren't cheap in york im afraid but bettys small cup of coffee is cheaper and alot nicer than a starbucks one.One of the best cafes in toen is cafe no 8 on gillygate-lovely food.

    Have a lovely time.

    I'm beginning to realise why I should fill in my spending spreadsheet daily not weekly.

    Gah.

    Hope you enjoy it! When the weather is nice I like to go and sit in the Museum Gardens and chill out near the river watching some of the boats and wishing I could afford one! If I'm feeling flush, I'll even have lunch and sit reading in the sun (I'm a bit of a geek and always have a book in my bag!)

    I agree that things aren't cheap and you pretty much have to pay for everything (ie the usual tourist haunts of the York Dungeons and Jorvik Viking Centre - which always has massive queues?!) but I think looking around the Shambles (try not to injure yourselves on the bloody cobbles!) is just as good (and free!)

    BONUS DAY *whoop whoop* :j

    Money post

    Rightly or wrongly, I'm not counting any bonus money spent in the Frugal Challenge I'm currently failing at. Current money situation is thus:

    Bonus money = £600 (Already paid for car insurance, tax and taken money out for Spamalot. Also made a PAD of over £80) The rest shall be our holiday spending money and at least one handbag, so help me God...

    PAD = £135 This also includes general spends until payday next month
    Groceries = £222.13
    Entertainment = £36.46 A good chunk of this will be spent on cocktails tomorrow

    Debt post

    Current balance in savings = £2326.09
    Current outstanding loan balance = £5613.07
    Loan minus savings = £3286.98

    When next month's rent is received, that will put the total debt under £3,000 :D
