hi FF i have an underactive thyroid and yes i does tend to run in families, if you have been feeling v tierd,
head feeling like mush,
putting on weight,
(may also be attributed to cake)... dry skin,
thinning hair or feeling v cold
(I did think this was a symptom of being in Scotland in winter though...), then these are all symptoms. They can diagnose it with a simple blood test and you'll take a couple of thyroxine pills for the rest of time. (the good thing in england not sure about scotland is that these and any other prescriptions you should ever require will now be free)
I am taking Mr F to the docs on Friday for his monthly check up, so will try and make an appointment for me at the same time.
In more exciting news than health issues, I have booked an appointment to remove a minimum of six inches of hair, strip out the black hair dye and then go redIn previous bonus years I would have booked in at the local salon (Largest price paid, £122) but this year I am doing it at the local hairdressing college....£33 :j

Wasted 20 minutes of my life doing a 4000 point (75p) Toluna survey only to be screened out on the final page. Have e-mailed them to object to this. Currently at 13000 points and have run out of sponsored polls to do. Its so very very very very very dull. Why oh why did I talk myself into rejoining them?????Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

I amn't going to the movies today as my friend thought we were going to the half five showing and I could only manage the half two showing. Oops.
So, we went to Morrisons (High tea for £1.99 is not to be sneezed at) and I got some bargains including coffee and sauce. I also bought a couple of much-needed storage boxes which were 2 for £5
I returned the expensive curtains to B&Q so that will be almost £50 taken off the credit card :A
Tesco yielded some reduced Willow Farm chicken (Posh!) and the usual glut of 65p milk. I also managed to get some baby clothes for my new niece in the sale as well as a hangeruppery for the gallons of shampoo in the bathroom.
A productive day all in all :T
