Hi,
Pants about the job. Never know whats round the corner, may be something to die for which you would have missed if you'd got this one!
If you're still up for a night out sometime let me know. I'm getting a house visit from the ASBO manager this week, must start to behave :rotfl:
House is in chaos. Also need to get carpets. Anywhere you'd recommend for cheap and cheerful?

We got ours from Carpetwise. Cost us £140 for carpet (no underlay etc as we're reusing the existing stuff) for a room which is 10.5ftx14ft. Seems to be good enough....I know sod all about carpets though0 -
I'll check them out. Painter is ripping out carpets in one of the flats for me. Don't want anything expensive because they get trashed. We're learning the hard way!

Morning all!
Quick pre-payday update from me on the old money/debt front...
Loan balance: £5,710.09 (Boooooo)
Savings balance: £1,701.78 (Yay!)
Debt minus savings: £4,008.31 (Better!)
Money outstanding on credit card following spare room decorating adventures: £388.84
I will either repay this from my bonus (assuming I get one) or make small payments to it until the interest-free period expires. At the moment I'm not counting it as debt.
Since the Debt-Free Birthday Club Challenge started, I have repaid (or saved to repay) £2,985.57, which is pretty good going!
