Money
PAD = £20 (Accidentally PADded £12 instead of £2 this morning, so having to be good!)
Entertainment = £2.43 with nights out still to attend. B*gger.
Groceries/Toiletries = £116.90 (Have to go to Morrisons tonight, aiming to spend less than £15)
Purse = £18.79 I'm going to try and make this last as long as possible, as I'm going to use anything in my purse for the remaining nights out this month.
Bought new headphones today - mine were working fine on the bus then died at the officeI was able to buy them using the gift card though!

Morning all!
A very quick update from me this morning as I am conscious I have been neglecting my thread a bit!
No word on the job yet but I will let you all know. This weekend will be spent planning travel if I do get it. I do think that the most cost-effective option will be a car though. It means I won't be debt-free by 30, but I would rather be in a job I enjoy!
Money is doing ok in some ways, badly in others!! I am well under budget for food this month - still over £100 left in my groceries/toiletries account with 10 days until the end of the month. I am going to Costco this weekend though. I need to find a cat litter that is cheaper than sodding Catsan which is now £10ish in Tesco for a big bag. Any suggestions? My cats are quite old and resistant to change and the last time we changed their litter they took to pooping on the floorI'm horribly over-budget in my "other" and "entertainment" categories I think, I will know for sure at the end of the month.
I have to dash now so I'm not late again. Have a lovely day everyone - Friday tomorrow, hurrah! :j

Have you tried putting Tesco Value cat litter on the bottom half of the tray and CatSan on the top half to see if that makes any difference?Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

I may well give that a go. We used the Costco stuff before (Clumping litter) and I really didn't rate it. They don't seem to like the clump stuff either!0 -
I prefer the wooded pellets, one cat would use it, the other used the floor!! Monster!!
We have given CatSan the boot, too expensive and we have moved to an inferior brand, however, they only poop on it, so its not the end of the world if it isnt amazing stuff.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Fingers still crossed for you for the job FF! TBH we found a car worked out far more economical for MrEH than public transport - his travel was around £250 a month on the train and - even allowing for ALL the costs on the car - at least £75 less than that in the car.
Her Majesty is also picky with her litter - we've nearly always used Tesco's own non-clumping stuff and the few times we've strayed away from it she's adamantly refused to use it. Bless her though, she doesn't poo on the floor, she just holds it all in until she's looking REALLY uncomfortable!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
