Fresian Goes to Englandshire
I shall be in Manchester from Tuesday 11th until Friday 14th of May, if anyone is around that area I would be grateful for a meetup and a chatIf not, I have rejected the company hotel suggestion as they charge £5 per hour for t'internet and will be in a hotel with free wifi and Sky telly :j
If you'll be about, let me know!

Aw, a little too far away for me or I'd have been there! Enjoy though, you ought to make time for an after work trip to the Trafford Centre to do some pretend shopping!

So, how was today?
Well, I was off work for five glorious days (including the weekend) and had a lovely time. When I returned it was just sodding work again. :rotfl::rotfl:My trip to Manchester is now booked and confirmed. I have to pay for it myself and claim the money back (Woo, Tesco points on the credit card!!) There appears to be shedloads of overtime on the go at the moment as well, so I'm going to be doing some of that, as much as I can without collapsing anyway! I am now confirmed for 7 hours of double time at the bank holiday and thanks to my whopping £24 (pre-tax) annual payrise (!!!) I have been tipped over the edge and will be making £11.02 per hour x2 for thatWorks out at £154 before tax, plus anything else I do this week :j
In excellent news, I have a job interview on Tuesday coming. I don't know how likely it is that I will do well, as it's a promotion and there will be many qualified people going for it, but I have many skills and it's worth a bash. It will be a lovely payrise too if I get it. I will update as soon as I have news.
Apart from that, not a lot. I have been getting free audiobooks with the Telegraph this week, which I will be putting on Ebay next time there's a free listing day. They're pretty collectable, especially if you're outside the UK, so hopefully will make my money back at the very least. The stories have been good too!
Better go to bed - up at 6am to go to Glasgow for work then will be back here for half five then out for a cheap dinner with some former colleagues. Tired at the thought of it!!

Ooooh I will keep my fingers crossed for the job interview. Maybe you didn't get the last one because you were destined for this one???
I did say I was just looking, however I am starting a new job next week where I have to walk 1.5 miles to work and back each day so I am needing comfortable footwear to do that. Thought if easy tone made the walk harder......I'm a sucker for advertising gimmicks.

Morning all!
I have been quiet this week as work has been poo and I've been back and forth to Glasvegas so have been knackered by the time I have reached home! I haven't done my maths for April either as I wasn't feeling too well last night when I got homeBetter now though
I was a BAD FRESIAN and spent £93 yesterday on two dresses, a pair of leggins (never worn leggings in my life!) and a bling ring. I think I'm going to wear one of the dresses for my interview though so does that make it ok?
Better run - Maw and Paw Fresian are visiting this weekend and I need to go and get dressed and meet them really soon.
Happy Saturdays to all! :j
