Hi - don't know if you're already sorted - am only up to your post and have to go out in a sec so thought I'd just drop in to say you'll probably find instruction online. Just go to the manufacturer web page and enter details of the model. I've got alsorts of instructions ranging from dishwasher to breadmaker to central heating boiler, lol!! HTH.

May be back later if I get back in time, have to go on a visit 2 hours away and apointment not til 4, prob end around 6, so will be late back!!!

    hi loopychriss,

Have you looked at comet clearance? It's new stuff, but ex-display or with a tiny dent in or something. It's run like an auction site. I got a freezer for £55 from it :)

wow, thanks for that.... I'll have a look later.... have slept on it and talked ourselves out of it..... for the time being! But I'll definitely do some research on it....

  • Done a lot less than I'd planned to today. It's been a NSD, walked to visit family rather than taking the car. My son wanted to make cakes so whilst the oven was on I made some turkey & cheese meat balls for the freezer. Keeping curtains closed upstairs in the hope it will help keep the heat in.

I had planned to find more things for eBay etc but haven't had the chance/energy so I'll leave that until tomorrow.

My papercraft magazine arrived today (I got a subscription using clubcard deals). It came with templates for making small boxes so I plan on making a few, letting the 3 year old decorate them as we have plenty of craft supplies in the house already. We will then buy some chocolate, melt it & put it in some nice chocolate moulds we have that I bought when they were on offer last year. Each box will only take a few chocolates in a small bag so a cheap gift for Easter but one made by my youngest so will go down well with the family :) Last year we did home made Easter eggs but realized it takes a lot of chocolate so wasn't that cost effective. I've learnt that if the children are making the gifts we have to start early as they lose interest fast so something we do once a week or so until they are finished.

Thanks for sharing how your LETS group works Ceridwen :T really interesting to see how it functions elsewhere, and gives me more scope for when I can finally start trading with mine. I would have felt odd paying for the lunch as well.

Great work with the glasses chamichelle :T Now that's something I wouldn't have thought of doing prior to the challenge but now everything is looked at differently ;)

Fantastic news about the chat with OH Thrifty :T It's brilliant to know more about the future and now you can really plan for the year ahead.

Meg, so sorry to hear about your son, thinking of you too x

Good luck SF, you'll be just fine x

Great news about the flat Lynda.

Your comment about the cafes made me laugh Rozee! :rotfl:

It is difficult to know what to say when someone dies but personally the only important thing to me is that people acknowledge it. It is good to talk about the arrangements too as it isn't something people often do, and yet is a very important part of life we all have to deal with at some time.
