mushy peas: well done re the baking - it does get easier. I am trying to bake a decent tasting loaf of bread: would love to crack that one.
cake21: lol, not just me then thans a townie. My OH always pokes fun at our 'city' status. I'm guessing yours might have water on 2 sides...
CW - i think like me you like the idea of community and that woud be an
    appeal for somewhere smaller.
SF -PGCE's are very very tiring, but you are a third the way through now:T
China tea - it is wonderful to hear what an impact past challenges have had on lurkers. Thanks so much for telling us.

I want to be able to explore other dreams (maybe write a children’s book or study or teach adults to read).

Once again SFT, we are on the same path - not only the first two which we've talked about before but also the adult literacy one; I've was looking at qualifications in this just last week ;) Really, we must be twins :D Are you 6ft 2 and stunning as well? :rotfl:

As for the job, would staying with the class teaching but relinquishing the Head of Lower School be an option?

So pleased to hear about your dad's operation Mumffour, wonderful news!

Fay - I am so jealous, this is just the wedding we'd like to have but can't.

:rotfl: And masterplan details please - here or PM I don't mind. In fact, I'll trade my 2011 plan with you for a peek at your 2010 one - call it a LETS of ideas :rotfl:

Bails aw bless lovies - its just a simple ceremony and I'm very outdoors - we've nicknamed it 'welliefest 2010' - wellies are compulsary

SFT - that sounded lovely - thanks for sharing! Love the monsoon dress idea

Masterplan - um - live remotely and be self sufficient (I am really Barabara Goode!) (I wish) - I already live quite remotely - but got sucked - by accident into a sort of full time job (I'm doing a post grad course) but its meant I've paid lots of my debts and focussed my mind more into getting back to the life I appreciate so much more.

NYK thanks for your input - yeah we plan to do most things ourselves, informally with alot of handy chums - we might even just have a picnic in the woods!:rotfl:

To the rest of you - hurrays for operations going well, folks keeping warm - sorry if I'm not keep up properly at the moment - humungous deadline for Monday and an oral exam a week today to decide my fate at work - will promise to slowly keep up properly 100% when that's all over

Sorry if I'm rubbish at remembering everything!xx
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

My frugal plans for this morning, as written in the Frugal Tome were:

    1. Cook lamb chops in the slow cooker Done!
    2. Charge my phone at work Done!
    3. Take full advantage of free coffee at work Done! (Possibly overdone!)
    4. Start photographing Ebay stuff Not done...the bulb in the living room is on the blink (I think the dimmer is doomed :( ) Photos would be badly lit. Must resolve to do this in daylight hours...
    5. PAD my loose change Done!
    6. Compare catfood prices in preparation for shopping tomorrow Done! Looks like it's Pets At Home for me...

    Other things I have done...

Made 10p from doing the coffee run (Tea is 95p and they didn't want their change!)
Printed voucher for £5 Carvery - a big group of us go every month so it's nice to save some cash.
Sold two items listed on Amazon last night :j

ha ha ha - i love my lottie! I enjoy going there and doing my digging but then i come home and put on me stillettos lol. I also love my hens but i wish i could afford a huge fandangled hen house like a woman from freecycle - instead i have a home made ugly house lol. I want gates leading into my house as well lol. (ps my wellies are pink and from primark) :T

I think allotmenteering and hen keeping is mega fashioable right now :)
