Arrrgggh my water wont go down my kitchen sink and have tried boiling water, drain clearer etc.Think it might be frozen as I don't have central heating:eek::eek:Have put the oven on full and opened the doors under the sink, might try the hairdryer on it later, any other ideas?
I cannot afford a plumber right now:o
Same thing happening here, but from my bathroom sink, I think it must be frozen outside because when I tried using the plunger to get rid of clear water some horrible grey stuff with bits of ?twigs appeared through the overflow  Just going back to see what suggestions people have made, as I can't really afford a plumber either.
edited to add - will have to stay as it is overnight, no way am I going up a ladder with a hair dryer, outside, in the dark!

I can email you mine if you like - just PM me your email address. It should show the monthly bills etc and I have been using the tabs for groceries/whoopsies etc so that should help.0 -
Hi SF - do you know what, your safety comes first and if that £10.60 stopped you from falling then I'd say it's money well spent.
I'm doing primary with science specialism. How about you? Are you enjoying it?I'm doing secondary in music. I am enjoying it, a lot, but I'm constantly tired which is getting a bit annoying! are you enjoying it?

Hi all
BAD BAD DAY HERE!!!!!!!
1. Pool is closed so not starting my swimming lessons tomorrow - many hours on phone cancelling lessons
2. Tax letter left me fuming!!!!! - apparently my 1400 year job gives me 'expenses' and 'benefits' that take 2285 off my personal allowance. Now lets work this out. my allowance is the 6475. so that means that i then pay tax on my income of around 400 odd - on an income of 1400 year - i take home 1000... (2hrs week) BUT it also means i have to pay that tax again on my self emplyed income so that is another 400odd - i have emailed the job asking what these are for - all i can think is that it is for my 'free' gym membership that is worth about £0 because i don't get priority booking or anything!!!!! fuming!!!! - and can anyone elighten me as to why i get a tax coding notice in january????
3. kids off school again - and they are the only school in hertfordshire to be off!!!!! i asked governor who has lessons with me and she said it was because 'they can't be bothered' FUMING - the kids are absolutely sending me loopy!!!
Frugally tho i made cheese sauce, value pasta and broccoli for kids dinner and me and H2B has sweet n sour chicken with egg fried rice (expesnive but home made so cheaper than take away which i deserve!) - kids have had snow ice cream for dessert!
Nyk - thanks for letting me know about the scholl things - BARGAIN!!!!!!DFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debtsJust to see which month
