OK I'll let you this once then
Why is it I am tempted by the lovely cake sitting in the Kitchen...yet yesterday when I could have eaten it, it wasn't that appealing *sigh*I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I've de-christmassed the house.....I miss the sparkly lights already.
We've still go 2 entire tins of sweets unopened, countless boxes of others and DD's have a huge sack each of sweeties left.......and I just don't fancy any of them......actually I've only eaten lunch today - I've got to the stage where food just bores me.
I did share a satsuma with the parrot.....he stole most of it though."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I know the feeling Pooky - someone tried to give me a huge tin of Quality street the other day in work! I had to say no - cos there are sweets everywhere in the house - even the kids are sick of them!0

Pooky sounds like you have rather a lot of chocolate there
Have decided Christmas 2010 I am going to be a real tight wad...Bought Brother a shirt, doesn't fit too small and is now in the sale so not worth taking back, have said I'll ebay it and buy him another. Then the lights I also bought for him and his girlfriend don't work, so have to send them back for a refund. Now a friend which I bought presents for both her sons has asked if she can change 1 thing as he got given it from someone else rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh...and breathe!
Give up, no more nice presents they can sod offI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I'm looking at houses.
DH's payout should be enough to buy a house (eventually).....I'd swap it all just to have him better though.
I haven't looked at houses for such a long time (as they've always been so far out of our reach) that I'm quite shocked at a. How much they are and b. How poorly decorated they are! (I do love a good nosey at other peoples decor)."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Maz, I was sat comfortably, and I blubbed for the last half-hour. If you want what happened explaining, I can PM you. RIP DT as the Doctor
Elfen I'm glad it's not just me that blubbed!! I started when the Dr and Wilfe were having a heart to heart on the spaceship. Then at the end when he got to see all his assistances.
God what are we going to do without our weekly fix of DT, the BBC have even stopped showing the Christmas thing between programmes. :-(
Gavin and Stacey now - the tissues and the wine are handy.0 -
oo I love looking at houses, but yes the price is totally out of my price range. Do you rent at the moment Pooky or will you just be moving and finding something new?I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
