Buymobilephones.net C550 12 months cashback deal - any catch?

Someone posted about this deal earlier in Grabbit, but it's completely disappeared now, before I got an answer to my questions!

Buymobilephones.net are offering the Orange C550 free with 12 months cashback. The minimum contract is 12 months

I've recently ended my contract with Orange and requested a PAYG SIM. I was on a 'customer retention' package of 120 x-net minutes and 30 texts per month for £15. This ended, and Orange couldn't match it. I have an Orange C500. If I went with the above deal, and sold my current phone on eBay, then it should make enough to cover the 13th month of the buymobilephones contract while I cancel. Effectively meaning I'd get the whole year plus the phone for nowt - saving me whatever I'd have spent on PAYG in the year.

Aside from forgetting to claim the cashback, can anyone see any catch in this? Are this company any good at paying up?

In fact the previous thread was removed by the abuse team as the link was an indirect link so I have had to remove the link from your post also. This is no reflection on your post however :)

Aha - I thought something like that might have happened - if anyone wants to see the deal, go to https://www.buymobilephones.net and click on '12 months line rental' under 'free gifts' on the right hand side; the C550 is displayed about 2/3 down the page. The address bar does look a bit like a referral link, hence why I haven't posted it again! :)

It wasn't an indirect link at all that I posted. It went directly to the page that had the deal posted on it. Unless my understanding of direct link is wrong I think someones been a bit quick with the delete button and not read the post properly.
