    If you were driving at 70 or less and there were NO SIGNS indicating a lower limit you have nothing to worry about. Happy New Year!

    but out of curiosity if one was to get a ticket, how long do the authorities have to serve it ????

    This poster is correct, they all actually have signs, but most fell over during the bad weather a few weeks back. They are due to become operational next week for the next 3 years as the hard shoulder is being made into another lane.

    They have 14 days to serve it on the registered keeper of the vehicle.
