It was the OEM radio, but it was an excellent one. I was disappointed tbh.

we all learn lessons, I learn on ebay to ask alot of questions, never assume anything.

I assume you viewed the car before purchase (pictures or in person), maybe even had a chat with him, so therefore you were not told that it was not included.

Ask for a refund on the car just to be funny.

If the radio isnt included, what else has he took away. Engine Cover, Luggage nets, spare wheel.?

The last car i traded into the dealer, i sure removed all extra bits i could to flog on eBay (Engine Cover - was in demand on eBay, Boot nets, Tyre foam, car mats).

All extras on the poor £3600 they offered me on the p/x. :)

Just the radio he took apart. Im surprised how petty some people are though.

When I came to view the car (paid in cash), the radio was already removed. Guess it will be a case of 'sold as seen'. Although, arguably, the pictures of the radio installed probably formed part of the contract. Just interested from a consumer law point of view.

his wife was there, im glad she wasnt included.

I do see your point though, his house was in the picture too. :D:D

trust the car i bought the guys wife was hot i would have had her as a spare lol
Dont forget when buying cars off ebay to take the ad with you and if you feel its misrepresented you dont have to continue with the purchase, maybe if you had made a point of saying that you were SURE the radio was included as it wasn't mentioned as not being included but was in the pic he might have given discount, also the threat of saying "thanks but its not was advertised, i'll keep looking"has the effect of changing most peoples minds

most delaers wnat their cake and they want to eat it, most of them stop short of taking you round the back and bending you over when you trade a car in so i dont blame you

It was bare before they first viewed the car, so it was as they viewed it.

    Im not daft..
  • do you drive an omega, omega? :D

cos it is what I bought too, the radio would have been worth about 2k when it was new.
  • if its in the listing demand it is handed over and fitted otherwise its £100 off , if not then dont expect , always read the listing specs just incase

    It happened to you twice?

I think I would probably have double checked before I bought the second one
