Have used it twice, no questions at check in. Friends and Family covers so many people, if not everyone anyway

Thanks for all the replies folks. Put my mind at ease now! Just a quick note to anybody else thinking of using the promo, they take the full amount when you book it, not just the first night.

Yes, and they did run out of booze on our flight there in June last year....there AND back. Seats weren't great either, I thought the leg room was pretty poor for long haul

If you are going with your mates for a jolly then I would choose Virgin, I will be on BA and don't need the disruption:D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

its definately photoshopped, you can see where those mountains have been added and merged into the pic of the luxor

I think a lot depends on the angle you're looking at. You can clearly see the mountains at the back of this picture, but the first one certainly looks enhanced by Photoshop

    Hi All

About to book a lads Holiday in March.
Soooo many choices! Im just trying to decide Gatwick/Virgin or Heathrow/BA.
Does anyone have input on this??

    Many Thanks

    Si..

Ive just booked 28/3/10 gatwick to las vegas virgin, then flying to LA internal flight then from la back to heathrow £483 plus £44 for internal flight. We are paying £75 taxi for six people to bus us from heathrow (where we are parking our car) to gatwick - it was cheaper doing it this way than arriving back at the same airport and and about £70 cheaper than BA. We are going to drive down to San Diego as well. Cant wait.

On the up side as you've prepaid and if you don't want room charging facilities they won't hold the $100 per night on your creditcard

    Yep
To confirm it go and fill the ESTA out on-line (you don't have to have booked and can amend details on it later)

There's a whole ESTA thread a bit further down this forum.

Why don't you skip the internal flight and drive? If there are 6 of you and each internal flight costs £44 - that's going to go a long way toward covering the rental car costs for your whole trip.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
