The very thought of writing Bob a not telling him his buffet has gone down the toilet as 3 people here have slagged it off is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever come across (let's forget about the 2 people on the previous page who really liked the place). Let's make that a 3-3 tie as the last time I tried it, it was spot on. Large amounts of edible, freshly cooked , mass produced, (mostly) bland food. (for those reviewers of buffets who smoke is there such a thing as blander than bland?)

While you fully flex your self importance muscles you might want to also write letters to the Wynn as Luci, and myself, do not think it's anything special and also make sure to write to the Aria to fully praise them (going by other sites it could well be the first letter of praise they get concerning their buffet - and that includes recent reviews). I can't remember the last time anybody had anything but praise for the MGM buffet, why not simply, replace the Spice Market buffet recommendation with the MGM buffet?

Who really cares if instead of 9/10 people raving over it, only 5/10 do. As long as travelers are told which are the current buffets that have, near enough, universal praise, the thread has served its purpose.

    OK point taken :D.

i guess i'm winding myself into knots on here as well ! . i just don't like the thought of having a recommendation with my name by the post , thats all . i really don't think of me as master of the thread or anything like that, it belongs to you all , but i am the only one who can edit the first few posts. thats my only motivation , to get it right for everyone else .

i honestly am not trying to come across as self important or anything like that :o.

TBH on am starting to feel like it's time for me to take a back seat come the New Year , i mean i am not going back anytime soon . i will still stop by here for sure , and i'm sure guys will be carry on this thread just fine when i am around less . :T

How do you get it cheaper?

On checking into Signature, they gave us a card that gave us $5 or $10 each off an MGM buffet.

I wouldn't panic on CCE just yet - I used to work for a company with an 800 number and due to a screw up on the side of the provider the line went down once for almost a whole day due to no fault of our own.

That said, I'm quite glad that we got our delivery last Saturday as any risk would have not made us happy at all.

But it could be absolutely nothing.

OK, was at work and unable to really look into this properly...didn't realise it wasn't just the phone that was an issue.

Hope it all gets resolved for anyone with impending orders. :(

Thanks, but no thanks. I've been using it for years so know what it was like when it was th No1 buffet in Vegas. Now it's near the bottom in terms of quality.

We did try it twice this time and the second time was worse than the first.

Just been to the Aria and it is streets ahead in terms of quality.

As you say, it's the only buffet you've been to so have nothing to compare it to.

I have to agree, I thought Aria buffet was excellent. I've been to the Wynn, Spice Market and Mirage buffets several times and I thought Aria was excellent and also the best value. Lunch is only $20 and while there might be slightly less choice than the Wynn the quality is very good. There is also roast lamb at the carving station which I havent seen at other buffets. The desserts were also fab.

It's really alarming how slippery they get, and so fast! I remember my husband and I shuffling along in front of Flamingo once, practically grasping onto each other for support as every shuffle one of us nearly went down. We did determine that my trainers were the better choice in rainy, Vegas weather.

Glad you had a good trip there and have a good time! :)
