Las Vegas Strip Helicopter Tour $84 for 2 people and free champagne (tour is 12-14 mins only) or 20% off any Grand Canyon Heli Tour http://www.vegas4locals.com/coupongrandcanyonhelicopters.html I don't know whether or not this is good so have posted it in case it appeals to someone. Definitely not for me. Only been up in one once - never again!!!

Harrahs NO RESORT FEE just taking all the money up front eh? Clever idea if it doesn't backfire. Mind you so long as it is still refundable I suppose it's still a good deal

    Hi Guys,

Looking at going to Vegas in Feb, March, April next year.

Will the hotel deals be out already you think? We looked at going this year and package prices (lastminute.com / expedia) were a lot cheaper. Or is it best to hang on a couple more months. For example many hotels were doing 5th night free deals this year i noticed?

Let me know what you think?

    Thanks

best hotel deals usually ( but not always ) come out 12 weeks in advance .

if you sort your flight you can pick and choose between now and when you go . £400-£450 flight book it there and then .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Booked this offer with the IP couple of weeks ago 2 separate weeks back to back

I noticed on booking it said a full deposit was required...no problem...but on checking my Nationwide account today I was surprised to see they have taken the full amount....I've always booked through a casino host at the IP so have only ever paid the first night as a deposit and the rest on check out....do you think I should ring them or just take my statement with me to prove I've paid in full

I think if it says a full deposit is required that means they take the full amount as a deposit...some special offers elsewhere also have this as a requirement to get the deal...it's usually refundable, but not always so worth reading the fine print closely.

Actually, thinking about it - if you normally book through a host, have you checked prices to book through your Total Rewards account instead of the F&F offer?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

$42 per person seems a great price!... not sure what they're like but we paid around $65 for pretty much the same thing with Papillon so it's a good ~30% saving on that.... i'm guessing for such a short flight, the experience won't vary from the Papillon one too much either! :)

Yes I did check the price...the deal worked out £50 cheaper....not a lot I know but still.....makes no difference to us if they take the money up front, the money was already in the account anyway I just thought it was worth a post so others don't get caught out....as long as I take proof that we have paid we'll be ok

The box offices normally open about 7am so you can call anytime after 3pm.

As for the IP taking the full amount, this seems to be a new thing Harrah's are going. They say you are booking a "package" and, although it's not clear on their website, it requires full payment up front.

Paris took full payment for my booking too.
Also if you then alter the booking and the price drops then the difference is not credited back to the CC. I was told that will be done at the end of the stay. Atleast this is what I was told by Flamingo recently :(

    You could cancel and rebook?

Or rebook, THEN cancel...which might be the safer way. :) Provided you don't have your Total Rewards account number against the booking, which would probably not let you rebook first.

I did think of that but by then the pound was strengthening and I would have lost on the exchange rate. Of course I will lose even more if the pound carries on getting stronger although I might try a long shot and ask if they could give me the difference in cash :)
