Four of my items sold last night, three paid and posted this morning. Managed to put two more on. Clearing the clutter slowly.

Another £30 sale - might have to wait until Monday to post it though due to the weather! I walked into town to post the one that sold yesterday - i'm exhausted, it started snowing while I was out.

Have you managed to sell any on eBay Jesa? I don't know whether to list them on eBay for free listing or put them on Amazon and eBay or just throw them :rotfl:

I've not had any luck selling VHS on Ebay for about 4 years now but you never know. There are a lot of videos you can still get a great price for on Amazon. At work my volunteers checked 15,000 videos and listed all those worth bothering with on Amazon. Some we have sold for up to £35 so its always worth checking. We currently have about 400 listed and sell about 10 per week

They checked 15,000?! Wow, that's impressive. I did start going through Amazon to check the price they were on for. Think I might do that again before I put them on eBay...

I know - they did it fairly quickly too. We still have some to get through and they are not coming in during this weather so we'll get back to it when they come in again. About another 1,000 to go. My vollies are brilliant:A

Do they watch them in 'normal play' or fast forward them and stop if they see any fuzziness? Just trying to work out a way of watching a couple of hundred tapes without having to watch them.

Ah no, they don't watch any, they just check the prices and list it if its worth it. Not had any problems with any of them not playing though but if we did then a full refund would be given straight away. I find VHS need checking less than DVDs which often skip
