Oh no Gingababe, that is such a pain. You know these things are so annoying, I had a couple of listings pulled a month or so ago as I bought some England short sets from a Wholesaler, they had the England Badge on them but were not made by Umbro (didn't know the badge was an Umbro thing), luckily the guy who got my listings pulled from Umbro asked Ebay to reinstate my account as I honestly didn't know I couldn't list them.

I gave the guy at Umbro the Wholesalers website where I bought them from and they are still selling them which is unfair as if they can sell them why can't I?

The other annoying thing is that they don't tell you what it is about the listing that is wrong. Hope you get it sorted out.

TMD - When I logged on this morning I thought it was just me !!! having one of those days! I am gutted I have got to wait for a response to the email I just sent, fingers crossed .
I am worried now, do you think that they can close my account?? Funny thing is I still have some items still listed & I asked ebay why they hadn't been pulled & he said they probably didn't see them???? It only took 2hrs for them to be pulled as well ?
    Oh well.

I know when I had mine removed, I got marked down on Policy Breaches and was at Medium instead of High Compliance.

I had 3 listings on, two got pulled and I ended the other one, I got my account reinstated and then at 1am the one I had ended myself I had a message saying it had been pulled, I was fuming as I kept e-mailing asking how it got pulled when I had already ended it myself, I was told that because it was still in my completed listings that was why I got marked down again, I did eventually get my account reinstated back but I had to e-mail about 6 or 7 times, each time I got a different person, luckily the lady who reinstated it the second time was the one who did it the first time, the guy from Umbro even e-mailed them to ask them to reinstate my account the first time.

I think you can get your account suspended if you have too many policy violations, do you have Selling Manager? If so go to your Dashboard and check what you are on for Policy Compliance.

It is so annoying as they must think that people deliberately list things they shouldn't when it's just a case of not knowing or realising. I am now too scared to list anything else with England in the title, when my listing was pulled I had already bought a load more England clothing, I asked the guy at Umbro if he would check that they were OK to list and he said they were as they didn't have the England Badge on, but I am now listing them under my other Business account as I don't want to risk listing them on my main Business account as I am now a Top Rated Seller.

    Hi Gingababe

Did you hear anything back from your e-mail?

Got a couple of bids on things I listed this weekend, hopefully will sell a lot of the clothes, just need to get rid of things now.

Help please Soolin and others .........

I've been 'requested' by ebay to upgrade my private account to a business one. I'm OK about that but .......... can I keep my private one as well - how do I keep my feedback score for the business one (is it better to upgrade my private one to business and then open a new private ?) - will anything I have on my current private one which has listings from the 'free listing' days then be charged for when I upgrade ??

Thanks for any advice you can give

Anyone else selling lots to Europe? I've had loads today, do you think it is because the Pound fell after all the Election stuff? Not complaining although it does mean I have to go to Poundland tomorrow morning and buy a whole load of mailing bags.

As far as it seems to work you must upgrade the one they have notified you about to a business account. There appears to be no restriction at all on then opening a new private one as long as you have all new bank details etc to use.

They will not charge you for items you already have listed, but if you don't upgrade they appear to be just blocking you from listing any more. Anecdotally there is a suggestion that if you do open a new private account and start listing in volume again that they will just stop you using that one, however there is no real information on that yet.

This is the new rules that they are now enforcng where firstly private listers will be limited to only 100 'free' sub 99p listings a month, but also where they warned that large volume users would be required to upgrade entirely.

Don;t forget to comply with all the business regulations on your account when you upgrade. For instance you must show your geographical address somewhere on the main auction page and have a stated returns policy.

Over 50% of my items go overseas and I have a whole load finishing tonight (with bids!) so will wait to see where they end up going.

However I am just bursting to say that 'touch wood' my new little business venture appears to be going OK. I've been working away for a couple of days and came home to find my business account absolutely bursting to the seams with bids, and i don't understand why really. I have gone into a market I know nothing at all about, my photos frankly could be better as a lot of my competitors use professional light boxes and i'm using various surfaces in my house! . One item Ibought only last week for around £14 I've just sold for £75 and I was physically shaking when I saw that go as I'd out it up at a stupid price merely to get it listed on a 30 day BIn to attract best offers..and within hours i was getting bids from all over and eventually got a full BIN price. It's actually quite spooky, I just feel that this is not going to last so I'll make the most of it.

Although to balance that the usual stuff I sell by the dozen and turn over a good steady amount on (not a lot, just ticks over regularly) I can't sell at all. How weird is that? I've just had 30 day BINs finish with some stock left over..which I've never had before.
