Get those shoes and bags listed, it's prom season!!

I only know this from Hypno's thread :D but it is a really good time to get those evening bags and shoes out of the house :D

As a bookoholic and procrastinating crafter, I know exactly what you mean about buying too much. I think I have a blind spot as well; it's all the stuff I say I'll ebay during those long winter evenings and it's still in the house:rotfl:
Thank you, will get going on listing as soon as I can BUT I have to tidy still or else will have to list standing up.
Books, I took an estate car full to cs a few months ago & now I have boxes & boxes of them again, where do they all come from? I think that they may be like dirty dishes & they breed when you aren't looking.
This isn't getting it done is it,
Hope everyone's got beautiful weather - life's sooooo much easier in the sunshine.
    Have a good day all.
Please if I'm back yapping again today will someone tell me to bu55er off.
    Byee

hi everyone, just asking for a little advice please.
a listing of mine ended last Monday evening & I sent the winning bidder an invoice straight away asking for payment within 3 days. Havent received payment or heard from them at all. I sent them another invoice and polite reminder message through ebay yesterday but I have a feeling they will not respond or pay.
My question is - as it was a popular item can I just do a second chance offer straight away? or do i need to go through the unpaid item process?
i have 100% feedback and looking at the feedback this person has left, in the past they left a seller a neutral for opening an unpaid item against them with no contact. can a buyer leave neg/neutral feedback even if they dont pay? seems a bit unfair if so.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - wish people would just pay!!

Hermum.....get those bags and shoes on ebay!! Here's hoping you make a tonne of money. Well done on being cigareete free......i hope it is still going well! Think of all that saved money!!

Mavvysmum - I have had two non payers lately and i have put unpaid cases against them first...though i waited for 2 weeks for payment. I would imagine the rules are that you have to properly end one transaction before offering it as second chance to another bidder. If you offered it and it was accepted and then the other transaction would still be open. Then if the original auction winner pays then you would be in the wrong.
I hope you get it sorted.

Someone has bought 2 items off me today and paid for each one separately, they are in France, should I send them in separate parcels or e-mail the person and ask if they want me to send them in one parcel and refund some of the P&P costs? I hate it when people don't request an invoice, now I've got 2 lots of Paypal fees.

    Thats what I thought, thanks.
Bit of a pain though because by the time you've gone through the unpaid item dispute i would think that the other bidders on the item had probably got it elsewhere! so will probably end up having to relist! although at least i will get my fees back. to people who dont pay!

  • Hi TMD,
I have to admit I dont understand what you mean, I expect our French cousins might be like me. I have started to ask people to contact me before I send them their invoice to chat about postage ie I quote for first class, so if they are happy for it to go second then I change the invoice. Why would the buyer request an invoice and how does that help?

Sorry for being a bit slooooowwww....

Personally, I would be happy to recieve one parcel and less postage costs.

Wow DeeDee that is fantastic, wish I had boys!!

I prefer people to wait for me to combine postage on multiple items so that I can post the items together and only pay one Paypal fee, they paid for each item separately, so more paypal fees plus it has cost them more on postage. As they have paid separately I am supposed to send them in separate parcels in case they claim and say they never received one item. It is hassle to have to keep messaging people and asking if they want them posted together and have a partial refund or if they want them posted separately.

  • Hi TMD

See what you mean. Do you sell much to Europe?

The star wars lego thing is mad. It's been grown men who have been bidding on it as collectors. I;m quite sure we didnt pay more than £30 for it five years ago. Still got lots to sell, harry potter and some other bits. Great to get rid of it.
  • Nice one with the Lego DeeDee!

I've listed 3 more items on ebay this evening - clothes this time. Got to keep listing to keep the money coming in!
