  • Hi Gang

Well after an awful start last week, needing to close down my account, receiving horrible but justified feedback, things have been good. I thought I would take advantage of the free listing. Listed 16 things and was exhausted ha ha!

The really good clothes have not sold at all. Star Wars lego has been unbelievably good and I have more to list. So £85 raised in my first week.

One thing though is my buyers havent left feedback. I'm waiting for them to say 'received all well and good' and emailed them all to say please let me know it has arrived safetly. Only one has. Also two non payers so far but will give them another day or two.

So not bad. Glad I perservered and thanks for all help given.

is it safe posting to portugal ? can you get items signed for ?

International signed for costs £3.75 MORE than the usual cost of postage.

IE if standard air mail is £2.00 to ship there, then to have it signed for would be £5.75

  • Hi all. I am still plodding along but maybe not as nicely as i would like.

I still need to work out how to get my listings near the 1st page and get noticed. Also how do some sellers sell so cheap. I just cannot complete with some prices.

  • I really need to get some stuff listed too, going to try and get at least 3 listings done a day from now on, starting tomorrow.

Haven't done much the last two days as yesterday had to take DD2 to A&E as she put a large sequin up her nose, they couldn't see it when we were at the hospital so had to take her today to another hospital and they put a camera up her nose to check but it must have either fallen out in the panic (she cried and screamed the place down) or she must have swallowed it and not realised. She was a big brave girl so am really proud of her (she's 4.5). I remember putting a rubber up my nose when I was 6 or 7 and panicking but it came out, funny what you remember.

  • Was a pain having to sit in A&E for so long and again today at the hospital but at least we know it's not stuck in her nose, the bag it came off has since gone in the bin.

I must have been an odd child as I never stuck anything in my ears or nose :)

Have sold a CD on Amazon and three books on GreenMet today so very pleased. Just have to get the remainder of my books and CDs onto the sites by the end of Sunday and then it is is eBay time :D

TMD, hope that she's ok I stuck chilli peppers from the garden up my nose as a baby. Maybe it burned a crucial part of my brain, could explain a lot. Frontal lobotomy by cauterisation (sp)
Why, why why do people tease on ebay. I do put stuff on my watch list sometimes to see what it goes for. Stuff that finished last night had 12 watchers & 1 bid
That's life I guess, well done to all who's done really well this month.
