Central Heating System problems

Its an Ikon 60-80 CI , thats what it says on the manual.

i`ve never installed any of these or had the pleasure of working on any , as a result of that i don`t know if they have any issues , however i dont think it worth replacing the boiler , its 78.3% eff new ones are only 90% and at poss £2k replacement the pay back would be years . I would power flush and fit a magna clean . there is a risk with leaks although i`ve never had any when flushing and most installers inform customers of these to cover their !!!!!! .

but before flushing , i would check , pump working , diverter valves working , no air in main hex . any filter on return is cleaned (if present does it mention a filter in the manual) , flow and reture temperatures . thermistors , overheat stats , burner pressure , flue , fan .

and no magnetite blockage at the usual place on a vented system!!!!!
