lost mobile phone..use mobile phone locator?

hiya,

I lost the phone a week ago.I was hoping someone would have handed it in.
I understand that I can get a new sim etc, bt I've got some great photos that I stupidly didn't transfer to my pc, i don't want to lose them.

Has anyone had success in the past with the mobile phone locator services? I just want to do a single search.

Any comment appreciated.

ta,

yogi

nice one mate, but please remember this isn't april the 1st.
I just want to find a reputable company that someone on the list has already used.

I don't think you will find any such service - the only people who can help would be the network you are on but even they can only block the phone if the IMEI is known.

Sadly its pot luck if someone hands your phone in and/or the photos are still on it.

If the phone has GPS then Guardmobile can lock it and also help locate it. FNsuite will allow you to block personal data if phone is stolen and if the SIM card is changed the phone will notify 2 pre chosen numbers.
