Brand new HD TV broke!

Hello forum.
My new HD TV broke (42 in LCD Matsui) and it's gonna take ages to get repaired. It's all covered by warrenty so THATS fine, but what i'm worried about is that I brought it in a sale so if the have to replace it then they will only give me a TV of equal value to the amount I originally paid for it.
The bad thing is there aren't any same-spec tv's for the same price (they're much more)
Is there any way I can make them give me a TV of equal QUALITY to the one I brought?

• If goods do not conform to contract at the time of sale, purchasers can request their money back "within a reasonable time". (This is not defined and will depend on circumstances)0 -

Where did you bring it from? No, you probably can't get an equivalent quality TV from them. You'll either get it repaired, or receive a refund, allowing you to look for a "bargain" elsewhere. But remember the old adage: "you get what you pay for".0 -
They fixed it huzzah!
Looks like these kinds of telly's are prone to overheating.. Liquid nitrogen cooling a bridge to far?0
